About Us

Svavar Ingi Hermannsson leads our consulting service. Svavar has specialized in computer security and information security for over 25 years. He has provided consulting advice on implementing ISO/IEC 27001, complying with personal data protection laws, complying with the security requirements of the payment card industry, and complying with the requirements of the Financial Supervisory Authority. Svavar also performs penetration testing and technical security audits.

Svavar has taught at the University of Iceland and the University of Reykjavík.

​

Svavar was the chairman of the professional group on information security at the Information Technology Association from 2007-2012. He has held many lectures in Iceland, Great Britain, Germany, Ukraine, Sweden, the United States and the United Emirates. Svavar has presented at events such as OWASP, ISC2 Secure Summits, BSides, Hacker Halted Europe, and UISGCon.

 

Svavar has a master's degree in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has completed an executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He is a lifetime member of OWASP and holds numerous security certifications, including:
